While the situatioin is improving, we still require some short-term adjustments at the library. The library building is open with entry by appointment only. You may schedule a 30-minute appointment for browsing and/or computer use by calling 517-486-2858 during regular hours. The library always has contact-free vestibule delivery available. You may request material via the library's catalog online, but you'll likely get a quicker response by calling 517-486-2858 (and leaving a message if you are calling outside open hours), by emailing the library at firstname.lastname@example.org or by leaving a Facebook Message. We will find your material, check it out to you, leave it in the library front vestibule for you to pick up, and give you a call to let you know it is there. You can find out more information, apply for an online account if you don't already have a library card, and access all the library's online content (available 24/7/365) at blissfieldlibrary.org. You can continue to enjoy current Winter StoryTimes--new each Wednesday at 11 am--as well as our previous online programming on Facebook where last year's 91 online Blissfield Library programs attracted almost 11K views. The building may be closed, but the library is always open.

We Make Reading Fun!
At your hometown library we make the best combination of reading and hands-on activities to keep our youth engaged. We encourage children and families to read for pleasure. This in turn helps them maintain and improve their reading skills. We encourage them to become lifelong readers and library users. We give our youth fun reading challenges. We celebrate the goals they set for themselves and their reading achievements!
